Good on the referee for keeping the cards in his pocket. It didnt sound like a particularly dirty game anyway but sometimes refs can get card happy and issue a load of them for innocuous challenges, once you start that you slow the game down and it stops and starts making football secondary to the cards. So

nice one ref.

Keane as well got away with shockers on Glass and Fletcher.

One of them took Fletcher right out near the end, might have been Varga?, definite booking. Commentators said if it hadn't been the end of the season/the league won/near the end of the game etc it would have been.

The referee isn't there to interpret rules, he's there to apply them.

Also unhappy with the humungous dive from that wee cheating bastard Maloney. I was watching the mach in a pub in Aberdeen, with my wife, who has no interest in football. Even she commented that the Celtic player had started to dive before the Hibs player stuck his leg out. The referee must have been all of eh.....2 metres away at the time.
