Celtic's Equaliser Today...

I wasn't at the game today, but having watched it on Setanta and having the advantage of replays and such like, I'm sure their goal could have easily been prevented today.

For those of you who have seen it again, or noticed it at the game, Stephen Glass is standing well behind Zurawski, who is allowed a free header. As far as I could see, he never moved towards him at all.

I reckon if Glass had put Zurawski under any kind of pressure at all, his header wouldn't have caused us any problems, as it would have been to difficult for him to get any power or direction on it if there was a challenge on him.

To be fair to Zurawski however, it was a decent header. I also thought we played fairly well today and were well worth our point in the end.

By the way, does anyone think our defence looked a wee bit more solid today?

I only saw the goals on te news but the defending for the Celtic goal looked shocking. Hopefully, we may get a few like that against Celtic next year when Caldwell is playing for them.

Re: Celtic's Equaliser Today...

I didn't really see it as a failing on our part! more a good goal which over the piece was probably deserved by Celtic!

It was a really good header by Zurawski and earned them a draw which was a fair result. Before the game I'd have been happy with that result and it's only when you go a goal up and hope that you can hold the lead that you become disappointed when they score!

Re: Celtic's Equaliser Today...

Yeah, we looked much more solid, kept them out for most of the match for a change. None of their diving and other shenanigans in our box which was good.

For some reason our defence always looks more solid when caldwell n hogg(who played out his skin) play together. n for wee jay sheilds he was total magic got stuck into them. n lennon shoulda been booked for his tackle on him.
