Aye it's a start, but it will take a long time to win the fans over again.

The save from Zurawski was the best save I've seen from a Hibs keeper in a long time.

That save looked world class from the away end but i am still to see it again on the telly. Was hesitant at a couple crosses but did very well over the piece and might just work his way back into the hearts of the hibs fans. Wee jay did superb again and is winning me over in thinking that he could just maybe make the right back slot his own. Whittaker and fletcher did superb as well in working like tigers closing down the celtic midfield and breaking well with the ball too.

Okay, let's break them down:-

Sproule for Konde: A tactical change that I think most would have agreed with.

Benji for Riordan: Fresh legs maybe? Riordan always capable of pulling something out of the hat, but was having a quiet one. Benji did nothing with the little service he got, but did a good bit of closing down.

Shiels for Thomson: Good to see Deano back. Thomson has been complaining about being tired recently, maybe also picked up a knock. Personally I wouldn't have changed him unless necessary and certainly would have given him at least another 10 mins.

So, all in all, hardly catastrophic.

Not sure this was deliberate Kev. Think he just ambled out of the tunnel, headed to his penalty box, then when he turned round and saw what was going on, it was too late to do anything about it.

Jimmy,

It's easy to take the credit (as you put it) when your sub comes on and scores a hat-trick! There was an actual end-product in that case. However, it's a bit of a conundrum to say he got it wrong because Benji didn't score. Would Riordan have made a difference if he'd stayed on, who knows? At best you can only have an opinion. You can't compare fact (Sproule's hat-trick) with fiction (what Riordan MIGHT have done).
