Re: Last game of the season,What if..........

Well, let's just hope we can build a big enough gap between ourselves and Killie...

We can beat Rangers though, we want to be in Europe just as much as those tossers.

Personally I'd rather watch the jambos getting humped on a Wednesday night off 'Europe's elite ' than the huns . We've seen that often enough over the last few years . So if it comes to the crunch let's get right intae the weedgies and never mind the rent-a-team from over the city.

So that means no UEFA Cup for us

UEFA Cup is very important for us just now. But I can see your point... though I'd rather we were in the UEFA Cup too...

Who knows - maybe the jambos will be docked points for their persistent whining , then we'd be right back in there .

If that situation was to occur, I'd want us to beat Rangers at ER. It's always great beating Rangers.

Re: Last game of the season,What if..........

europe, would be good, at least we would have something to show for our season, but not getting in would not be a bad thing either, would let us concentrate on the league preps, less games, less chances for injury, better chance of a fit team this time next year, better chance of winning silverware

it's my logic and it works for me

People would want us to win a meaningless game even if it meant no Europe for our club? That's taking your hatred of the Hun too far.

Agreed.

Remember the outrage by some though, last season when we played out the last 20 minutes...

Re: Last game of the season,What if..........

I wouldnt want hibs to win any game if by doing so they:

1. Sent Hearts into the champions league, handing them the subsequent massive financial benefits and prestige, not to mention ability to attract better players that potentially could widen the gap between us and them for several years.

2. Stopped us getting European football.

3. Meant that fucking Gretna would representing Scotland in the Uefa cup instead of us.

I hate the hun as much as anyone, but i cant see how you could want hibs to win a game when it would damage our club and advantage hearts.

I want europe back at ER and don't want the hearts in the champions league, so if we done what we done at the end of last season when we sat back at 1-0, i wouldn't be complaining.
