Is europe still on the cards?

if rangers finish 2nd and go into the champions league hearts will probably finish 3rd and get uefa cup spot so when they win the scottish cup as well does that mean gretna get the last european spot or does it go to fourth place in the league????

Re: Is europe still on the cards?

I hope we can do it but at the moment i don't see us winning another game this season.
I'll be happy to be proved wrong but we just look like a team expecting to lose at the moment

Greenmachine will become famous soon enough
Re: Is europe still on the cards?

It's unlikely IMO. We have to keep trying though. Sunday has more or less ended our season. So much depended on it.

Re: Is europe still on the cards?

I'd be fuming if Killie finish above us. They are an overachieving team with the players they have. If we cant finish above them then its embarassing. Its also a joke that we are now relying on others to get us in Europe.

well we have been inconsistent from the very start of the season (drawin at home to the pars) and with the league being relatively open for the first team in years killies work has been looked over even through losing their top scorer to the huns and we are only [b]4/B]points ahead of the sheep shaggers so we still need to get the results to stand a chance of getting into europe!!

Mogga has been different class for us but we have been found out this season. Teams can break us down no problem. I hate to say but Jeffries knows what it takes to be in this league and Mogga could take a lesson from him. Its all very well playing all the nice football but thats no good if we are not hard to beat. Jeffries has got a good blend with Killie with considerably poorer players. Just shows Mogga has a lot of learning to do and I think we forget how much of a rookie he is.

Further confirmation Gretna only get Europe as runners up if Hearts are 2nd in the SPL.

We must aim to make sure we finish 4th at least. Let's get behind the boys tonight - ESPECIALLY if good young lads like Lewis Stevenson have to play - to play our part in making sure we do not miss out on a potential reward for this season's efforts.

A half full ER tonight would be very sad indeed...
