hibs decided to sell tickets at 1 per person meaning a lot of people could not sit next to there friends with the early bird system done away with next season if we get to any more semi finals then maybe we will sell the tickets under a different system i think this put a lot of people of just a thought by the way

Yeah I was disappointed, there were about 3000 empty seats in the Hibs end, at least. Still a terrific atmosphere but it would have been nice to see Hampden completely full.

If I had a ticket that was not beside my friends, I would still have gone to the game. That would be a pretty lame excuse IMHO. We were on the bus beside a father, son and daughter who were sitting in different stands - and they came a hell of a long way further than we did.

The fact is, many of the empty seats were caused by a lot of people who didn't think we had a chance of winning.

Yeah I agree. Personally I knew we'd lose, but more Hibees should have at least supported the team. A little thing called loyalty. Mind you, some might have been put off by the journey... still think it should have been at Murrayfield.

The journey was a piece of cake .

I went via Motherwell and East Kilbride to avoid bloody Rutherglen, easy journey it's the route I'll take to Hampden from Livi in future.
IMO I think some were put of going by A) a lack of confidence in the outcome B) warnings about carnage an paggering on the M8 and back at Edinburgh. The latter turned out to be nothing of the sort despite predictions by the likes of Jambo Cameron on Real Radio - fucking idiot.

I was coming back in the car on my own amongst a lot of Jambos because I had to go out to the airport after the match to drop my Dad off. All I got was the occasional Yam waving 4 fingers at me and the like. It was all banter that we would be all too happy to dish out. I agree it was all blown out of proportion beforehand.

there was quite a few stopped at the mcdonalds in east kilbride, and the funny thing was there were 2 yams sat in a car in the car park as i drove in looking rather sheepish, when i walked in there was about a dozen hibees all ages making there way to hampden,
