Did Mogga not highlight the problem of playing two left footed midfielders in central midfield after our recent Motherwell fixture?

Yesterday Glass & Thomson..

Surely Konde should have been in?

I said this before the game. I would of had him in purely down to the fact that we were going to be bullied by hearts so having big Konde in the middle would of been the way to go. But Mogga went with the football player approach which is fine but sometimes especially in games like this you need someone to bully them back.

Mowbray got his tactics wrong once again in a Derby yesterday, and it cost us yet another 4 goal hammering from Hearts. You have to match up with them in midfield or suffer the consequences.

I agree that TM went for the footballer rather than the hard man. That is the biggest problem with Hibs and the managers philosophy. He seems to think you can win big games like yesterdays with 11 ball-players. Yesterdays game surely proves theory this is wrong once and for all.

I'm not quite sure why Konde has been signed as he very rarely plays him.

Mogga has done that before with rudge who i fought was a reallt good defender but hardly played him!

I wonder myself. We are hardly a club that can afford to sign players not to play them.

Three 4 goal hammerings, in a 8 month period, would have condemned any other Hibs manager of recent years. He needs to get it sorted and quick.

Zibby, Brown, Rudge, Konde, Murray, Morrow, Konte, Dalglish. No arguing what hes done and that he has signed some top class players but with the good doesnt half come the bad. Not saying Murray and Konde are bad players but if they are never going to feature then why bother signing them.

murray did play last season and he was brilliant, he has been plagued by a back injury this season thats why he hasn't played. hopefully be back soon as he has played a few reserve games now.

Slightly over exaggerated. He was far from brilliant. He wasnt bad like i said but was average at best and did not play regularly at all. All you can do is assess the signing and based on return on investment he has been a failure.

well IMO he played really well last season especially at parkhead and tynecastle. im sure if he gets his fitness back he will be back playing again. last season he played week in week out.

Coming back yesterday along the M 8 we overtook the team bus with Tam McCourt driving a minibus behind.
Amongst other things in the van were a rack of shirts , the one we could see had MURRAY on the back , why would they take shirts of players who wouldn't feature

Murray was back from injury in January

Did he get injured again? Once again I never said hes a bad player all I was saying is if he's to be judged on how good a signing he has been injuries or not he hasnt been a good signing.

mibbie we should look at the physios. i know you cant help injuries happening especially when we train on public parks and all that guff but our players have a lot of recuuring injuries.......i aint no doctor and the may well be doing a fantastic job but i thought i would throw this into the ring

Indeed, and considering the amount of time we actually take to sign players (scouted for 38 weeks, on trial for another 5 weeks, goes away for another 2 weeks, comes back for a week, eventually signs and makes debut 4 weeks later etc etc) it even more of a mystery!

im not a fan of throwing a player straight into the team/squad...but konde should have figured more in my book
