2 Less Season Ticket Holders Next Season

Mistakingly thinking that Saturday was the cut off for the payment plan i posted our direct debits to Hibs on Friday by Special Delivery. They never actually got there until this morning . Just off the phone to the ticket office after being told there's nothing they can do so Lauren and me will be walk ups next season .
Seems a shame to not want my money for the sake of a couple of days

With all the exitement and ticket buying it got forgotten about so it's my fault but i thought they would at least tried to accomodate us even if we paid the first instalment by cash

You should know by now that Hibs are not what you would call user friendly. For a board that is obsessed by saving money they work in odd ways .

The only reason she gave was that they need 10 days to set up the direct debits , when they actually did this i don't know . I can set up a DD online in 5 minutes

They want folk paying early but when they offer to the get turned away. A couple of days ffs isnt going to make much difference. So basicly Hibs ways of doing things dont look to be improving much for next at all

you can set your details up but for the DD details to be logged there are 3 sets of communications between your bank and the one recieving the money, thats why it takes 10 days, that is set by the financial services auth

a standing order can be done in 3 cos you tell your bank to pay that account money, and if it's wrong it's your fault

but you would think they would have a closing date and then a 1 week late arrivel period (for those delayed by post etc etc)

Sounds like you know more about DDs than me so i'll accept what you say.
Surely paying the first by cash then 3 instalments would suffice ???
The lassie was pleasant but didn't seem interested in resolving my problem thus potentially losing the club over £600

They don't care they know they can treat us like crap and we will accept it because we love hibs.

They on the other hand just have a job to do

i used to work for a financial operator

she could have done that, but you will probably find that hibs want all the money to go into ST holding account 1st before putting into a main account, that way they can report takings from ST, and they want it all to go in at once,

as i said they should have had a safety net for those late apps,

I know it's a pain, but can you not remove the cash from your bank on the days the DD would have come out and stick it in a piggy bank?

Forza, I had a similar thing 3-4 years back, Me and My brother-in-law decided a couple of weeks before the season started to get tickets for 2 audults and 3 concessions. I left it too late to get them and didn't phone until the Friday before the first game. I told the ticket office I wasn't fussy about the first game and would pick my seats after it. They wouldn't accept me doing this and over a grand didn't go to ER. I know that you have to have a cut off but they don't have any flexibility even if it's you that's trying to go out of the way to sort the problem.

A good theory mate but i'd lose my current seats which are pretty good (East Stand)
My daughter works to a very tight budget and her sticking to that might be a problem.
I'll email Judith Quinn to see if anything can be done (M&M Mans Suggestion

If nothing can i'll just pay at the gate.
Seems a shame though

Not knocking the payment plan, but lets remember that it will all be paid well before the start of the season..
