Sproule now misses Killie AND the trip to Aberdeen thanks to his red mist moment yesterday.

Gary Smith however will not serve any ban until next year's Scottish Cup.

Sproule's dismissal was for violent conduct and as such carries an automatic one match ban for any competition (SPL included) and will take effect on Wednesday. His original suspension on Wed will now carry over to Saturday.

Smith was sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity and as such will now miss the next Scottish Cup match he might feature in...

Ivan should recieve large fine as well from Hibs, his actions were a disgrace, cant believe he was applauded off park, his needless sending off gave us no hope of a recovery.

i agree he should be fined and benched, if he even gets the bench after his ban

he is young and with that comes young frustration, we all in our teens and early 20's fly off the handle and say or do something in frustration, this shows that our team is young and prone to spit the dummy or sometimes in ivans case worse

and as for giving the guy a clap, we didn't do it to say well done for stamping on that yam f*ck, we clapped to let him know we appriciated his effort (altho stamping on a yam, is it really a bad thing (i joke))

He tried his best and lets face it the scums time wasting diving acting and basic piss taking left ivan pissed off

he should have stamped on his head would've hurt more.

best thing i've seen big konte do was take that big defender out the game. a piece of brilliance

Exactly. Absoloutly pathetic giving him any applause at all. Performance was crap and his stupidity should certainly not have been applauded. Is this such a bad thing him being injured anyway

Maybe when hes back from injury he'll have come back down to the ground and start playing his usuall game again.

I read on another thread, and agree with it, that maybe it's a good thing Ivan's out for a couple of games. we've begun to rely on him a bit too much and need to work out some other system.

If TM was planning on using the tactic of high balls forward to Ivan against giant defences then thank goodness he's out. It started to look like a return to the bad old days of Mr Blobby.

Sproule is a hot head and i doubt he will ever change his style. However what the hell was he thinking?

Can the SFA increase his ban? I think i heard they can't because the ref took action against him. Any truth in thaT?

Ivan lost the head a bit but considering the type of game it was fair play to him its about the only thing that we had left was to boot them off the park.

I think he needs a rest, admittedly on the bencfh rather than the stands!, but his performances recently have been well below par. I think he has been reading all this positive press and its well and truly gone to his head. It will be interesting to see how we perform without him in the next two games.
