Not sure we have anyone capable of being a REAL captain, we haven't for years either. All that Ian Murray "leading by example" was a load of bollocks too. We ain't had a decent captain since Sauzee and John Hughes

Is Beuzelin not the current vice-Captain? I'm sure he was captain when Caldwell was injured earlier in the season. Not a fan of having a foreign language speaker as captain though.

My vote would go with Thomson, Murphy and Brown both seem a bit injury prone and miss a lot of matches with wee niggling injuries, and they both play out wide where they are less involved.

yeah boozy was the captain when caldwell got injured, dont think he should be captain but the guy has a phenomanal record as captain

evening all, i'm a new member and this is the 1st e-mail i have ever sent but anyway, i met murphy on a night out 2 weeks ago and was in his company for a while, he seems like a stand up bloke, he loves the hibees and he loves stayin in our fine capital city, but apart from that he's a quality player and would lead by example on the pitch, so he gets my vote.

Agree Murphy's probably the best left back in the country, and even in a day of utter sh!te from hibs, he was an absolute stand out, as was thommo.

Still think that Smith should be captain though - he's most experienced, and can see him still having a role in the first team next season.

A thought when boozy was captain in place of caldwell he wasnt vocal at all he passed the ball and pointed id go with Murph 100%.
