They really are, 3 of our key midfield players have been missing for so long, Boozy, Sheils and Brown, the 3 of them along with O'Conner going (who has been a very big loss!!) has thrown our whole playing style out the window! Killen is good, seems to hold up the ball very well and also looks decent in the air, but i still think O'Conner's move has came at a terrible time for us. I just wish the midfeild we played last season ( Glass, Sheils, Boozy, Brown) would be able to play in the semi

We don't have the finances to have a big squad of quailty, We have no choice but to bring more youngester up from the reserves/under 19's.

With the money GOC gave from the loko deal going into youth development and plans for new training facilities then i can't see Tony getting much if any funds to add/strengthen the squad without players going in the opposite direction.

The debt is at an all time low, and continues to go down, and we have the 1.6 Million from the O'Conner deal, and with a few players leaving at the end of the season ie Caldwell, maybe Riordan? and who ever else that gets emptied, will free us some wages, we have the money to bring in new players, but i think you missed my point, once we have are full team back, we can choose the following for midfield - Glass, Sheils, Boozy, Brown, Thomson, Stewart, Sproule, Dalgliesh, Fletcher, Riordan. I just wish we had the 3 who played most of last season back playing, especially next week.

i agree with you, too many injuries, we can't keep a winning team for 2 reasons
1. players are getting injured too much.
2. the old firm always unsettle our players by declaring their interest.

also, glass needs to get a new contract, he has been great recently!

the midfield 4 of last season was brilliant and antonio murray started playing well but hes no kicked a ball all season for the first team, just hope killen and brown are fit for the semi-final, unfortunately boozy is out for the rest of the season and glass does deserve a new contract but doubt he will get one

a like the look of chris killen, prefer to have big garry o there aswell but am confident when broon an boozy are back in the team that we'll see just how good killen is, him holding up the ball will obviously give broon more breathin space, and boozy in the holdin role
