only guessing but herriot,brownlie schaedler black blackley,stanton edwards cropley,gordon o'rourke duncan played a lot of games in a row in those great(BUT NOT QUITE GLORIOUS ) years

Can't name the team but 4 who did play I reckon are Roy Baines in goal, John Brownlie, Jim Black and John Hazel.

The team was apparently... Roy Baines John Brownlie Jim Black John Blackley Mervyn Jones Pat Stanton Willie? McEwan Jim Blair Arthur Duncan John Hazel and some bloke John Murphy who made his only appearance for Hibs that season in the new year game Does it jog any memories? Eric Stevenson and Johnny Graham had played on Boxing day v Dundee United yet were mysteriously missing come the new year game. Joe McBride had fallen out of favour, Joe Baker was yet to sign, I presume Jimmy O' Rourke was injured who played up front that day?????? Hampden/Bomber/Bobo remember anything about it? It was a 0-0 draw.
