Brown 7 (solid all round)
Whittaker 8 (much improved)
Murphy 7 (good but not as good as usual)
Caldwell 6 (not up to his high standards)
Smith 7 (solid)
Thomson 8 (good base to attacks)
Stewart 5 (poor as usual IMO)
Glass 8 (carried on magnificent form and key player again)
Dalgleish 6 (bit rusty but hardly surprising, showed a few good touches)
Riordan 9 (class act)
Killen 9 (just what we need a big man who aint afraid to hold it up and took his goal magnificently)

Reply with your marks and views thanks

Re: Player Ratings

i thought dalgy did do well at some points, but nerves seem to have got the better of him today, looked good though

i would say thomson 9 and man of the match, outstanding performance, ruled midfield, won everything

thought caldwell was better, i'd say 7

murphy worth an 8 he is an amazing player, rest are spot on though

Re: Player Ratings

Agree with your ratings apart from Caldwell - would give him a 7

Greenmachine will become famous soon enough
Re: Player Ratings

I was very impressed with Killen today, and he scored a terrific goal. I also thought Paul Dalglish showed some good pace, and almost scored a tremendous goal in the second half after a sublime pass from Kevin Thomson. I thought Konde did fine considering how few appearances he has made, and the fact he was out of position. He looks a strong lad, and he had a terrific low shot which looked a certain goal till it was blocked. I am sure he will be playing in central defence next season. I thought Riordan was excellent as well, and would be my man-of-the match.

I was a bit disappointed how scrappy the second half was, and Hibs ended up being sloppy and half-hearted, resulting in the needless loss of a shitey goal in the last few minutes. Would like to have seen a couple more goals from us in the second half, but overall, a fairly convincing win for the Hi-bees.

Re: Player Ratings

I thought Whittaker was the best he's been all season and then he fecked up towards the end by giving the ball away to easy, sure it was him getting disposessed that caused their goal. Before that point he was good though. I would have gave him a 7.

Re: Player Ratings

Thought Murphy was more a 9, very influential, but not as noticeable!
