if that's true what's up? no sign o injury/illness - all very odd. I am very confused by this whole state of affairs. Maybe he failed it on psychological grounds when he mentioned to the Loko officials that he thought Vlad was a ****?

If he did fail his medical, Do you not think he will be on a bit of a downer. I know i certainly would.

If true then I feel sorry for the guy.

If this is true, its a hard one on the guy and I personally feel very sorry for him. Its not often a deal like this comes around.

Good news for the club in the short term, though.

Garry O'Connor is back in Edinburgh after undergoing a thorough medical in Munich ahead of his impending move to Lokomotive Moscow. He'll now have talks with officials from the Russian club to conclude the transfer once test results are received. O'Connor has been told to stay away from Easter Road by Tony Mowbray until Saturday's match against Dundee United to allow the players to focus fully on the game - he''ll get the opportunity to say farewell to his teammates after the match.

Don't know how up to date this is but it suggests he is away soon.

Funnily enough I was just saying last night that I was a bit surprised that everyone was assuming Garry O would pass a medical easily. He's had chronic back problems for about 2 years, and that would definetely show up imo. I hope he has failed, but the problem is expected to clear up in a couple of months at which point Lokomotiv will come back in and still make him a millionaire, and Hibs a bit better off for a player who I don't want to see leave, but who deserves more money than we can afford in the forseeable future...

Well I might be selfish but I hope that the O'Connor transfer is off and that he can remain an under contract Hibernian player until the end of the season.

On another point does anyone on this site have a clue as to what the terms and conditions of the transfer will be, okay so if it goes through it is £1.6m but is that all in a lump sum or over one year two years installments, international caps ? number of games etc. The Russians are very adept buisness people, Gary Mckay on the other hand I am not sure of but he doesn't strike me a serious hard nosed business man who can negotiate with hard bitten tough negotiators.

Better call the whole thing of until afet the Cup Final I say.

Gary McKay will only be involved in negotiating GOC's wages etc, he will have nothing to do with the transfer fee, that is between both clubs
