Just a bit of info for those that don't know.

Up until the mid 70's the SFA only awarded caps to players who played against the other home nations. Although Eddie Turnbull & Stewart Imlach played for Scotland at the World Cup in 1958, they never played against England, Northern Ireland or Wales. So they never received a cap.

However, Bob Wilson did receive a retrospective cap, with the help of then Scotland manager Craig Brown.

Stewart Imlach, father of Gary Imlach, tried for 10 years to get a cap but the SFA refused at every turn. Even after giving one to Bob Wilson. Sadly, he died a couple of years ago, and it's only now that Gary has highlighted the appalling wrong

I would do but she's a millionairess London LibDem and wouldn't know a Scottish footballing legend if took her up the tradesman's
