Am I right in saying that when George Best signed for us that there was some kinda 'glamour' friendly at ER? I know that he played for San Jose after us, but seem to remember that we played some US mob (no, not H*&^&ts)!

Mind, I was only 8 at the time, so apologies if I'm getting a bit mixed up!

I think the game was part of the deal that took George to the USA.
