Shame, chance missed, I wouldn't have minded having him back.

What a bombshell. I'd always thought we couldn't sign him because the fee would be too high, and the wages would be too much, but from this, he seems to have been within our price-range. I'd have taken him back at ER, he could have done well for us at centre half. However, it doesn't seem that TM was interested, so...
