50 Years of Hibernian F.C. in Europe 1955-2005

The Hibernian Historical Trust are holding a commemorative dinner in the Famous Five Stand at Easter Road on Friday 29th July 2005.

The event is being held to mark the 50th anniversary of Hibernian becoming the first British team to take part in the European Cup.

The evening will attract of host of Hibernian greats past & present in addition to all surviving players from that era being invited to attend.

Guest speakers will include Steve Kindon, former Wolves, Burnley, and Huddersfield star who will entertain those attending with some cracking tales of his soccer exploits. Steve will be ably backed by former now retired SPL referee Willie Young a worthy exponent of the rules governing the great game.

This nostalgic event is surely one not be missed, to be part of this evening and play your own part in Hibernian History book your seats now.
