Looking at the squad as it stands at the moment, we have a good looking first choice eleven, but very rarely this season will our first choice team be available. When the squad starts to get stretched later on in the season, we may struggle a wee bit, but I am still confident about our prospects. One or two areas of the team where we will have a problem replacing injured/suspended players, but all in all we look in fairly good shape.
I think it was interesting to read that Hibs were apparently watching the winger from Gretna who is very highly rated. I have a hunch that TM is not convinced about Scott Brown as a winger in a 4-4-2 system, and may wish to bring someone in at a later stage, who is a natural winger. I rate Scott Brown highly, but I think he is much better as a striker with his pace and finishing ability.
