who can we afford?

being realistic, bobby williamson aside, who can we actually afford to manage hibs?

financially we are strapped - so wages wouldnt be as good as they have been in the last five years and there would be little in terms of investment in the team.

given strachan looks to be a dream and little else...realistically who can we attract ?

frightening suggestions elsewhere have included Ian McCall

With every team being strapped for cash , just about any manager in Scottish football would be within range.

McCalls lot are top in the top six-----

mcCalls lot may well be - but is that a reflection on his team, or the teams in the bottom six?

on the other matter, is there a messiah sitting in the SPL/SFL that we can afford (ie no gjp/mon)?

Let's not. The board decided after 69 days that they had made a great mistake appointing Sauzee as manager. From what I hear there was near anarchy in the dressing room during his tenure, and a number of players were considering walking out altogether. He won not one SPL game in his time as manager, and the board must have realised that Hibs were heading fast for relegation. Hence his sacking.

I would like to make this one appeal to all Hibs fans. Once and for all, can we please realise that Frank Sauzee is in the past ? He played brilliantly for Hibs for 2 years, and was then wrongly appointed Hibs manager. The crime of the Hibs board was making him manager in the first place, not sacking him.

Can we please look forward instead of backwards ?

I hope Hibs appoint Robertson as manager, as he knows Edinburgh football back to front, and has earned the right to manage Hibs. I believe he would be a very good appointment, and I honestly couldn't give a toss who he used to play for. After all, he was doing his job at at Hearts during the 80's, nothing more, nothing less.
