Cork City wear a similar green and white strip to the Hibees. They also have a harp on their shirts (sponsored by Guinness) and wear Le Coq Sportif. They were also the successor to Cork Hibernians. Also a Corkman, Tim Healy was patron of Hibs back in the 1890's. There are so many similarities between the two clubs, they have to be included in the Green Brotherhood. I absolutely agree, they are our sort of people... I will be in touch with them as soon as, to see if they are up for a bevvy or whatever. A fine city too, great pubs and restaurants. There was talk last year of a pre-season in Ireland. Well, we can always dream eh? Thanks for that Mick, I'll let you know if they respond.

Mick, i think you've given me enough reasons (together with the fact that one side of the family comes from cork) to adopt the city as my irish team! cheers
