FC Groningen started the new season yesterday away against Vitesse Arnhem. We started with a 0-4 victory! The biggest away victory in Arnhem was a 1-2 but we smashed that one!

And yet another win! We played today a home match against FC Utrecht. Utrecht never ever had a change to get the points today. FC Groningen is the only one in the league who hasn't got a goal against... I'll post the highlights when they are online!

Totally enjoyed the highlights there.On my way to the cis final last year i found a Groningen hat outside Hampden it obviously brought us luck still wear it to Hibs games,Sorry if it was yours bud fan for life now though.

As both Volendam and De Graafschap are candidates for relegation as we are with ADO Den Haag I wish Groningen all the best. Have to say I like Groningen because of it's own atmosphere, faithfull crowd (even in the second division 10000 fans) and because they don't like ajax too. This year I went with my son (5 years) to Groningen-ADO. We didn't have a chance (3-0), but had a nice day despite the Scottish weather
