finally i have something to tell you about his progress this year))

garry missed most of the pre-season training that's why he didn't take part in the first matches of the season:
kuban' 0-0 loko
loko 2-1 rubin
cska2-0 loko
the game against cska was a huge disappointment as in the last 6 games before that match we beat them 5 times and there was 1 draw.

the next game was a cup quaterfinal against dynamo (we have a two-match system in the cup) at dynamo stadium. garry played the whole second half and, just like any other player in our team then, was useless. we lost 1-0.
in the next two leage games (dynamo 2-1 loko and loko 1-0 khimki) he came as a substitute and again couldn't do anything dangerous. actually the whole team played horrible this year except maybe 2 players... until today

today was a second cup game against dynamo and frankly speaking most of lokomotiv supporters (including myself) were pessimistic about our chances of progreesing to the semifinal. but we actually won 4-0!!:YAYYY: the last goal was scored by o'connor who came as a substitute 15 minutes before the final whistle. you can download his goal here (8,4mb):

hope this win will be sort of a psychological boost to the team as they seemed to need it badly

it's been designed according to fans' request to have more green colour on shirts, but now some say that it's way too bright...

after two games against spartak (nalchik) (0-0) and fc moscow (1-1) there was not much to say about garry each time he came as a substitute in the second half and really strengthened our attack, but failed to score.

today we had the first semifinal game against spartak (moscow). it's a derby. and we won 3-0 although 7-1 would have been a fair score.

garry came as a substitute on the 30th minute because of traore's injury and managed to score a goal:

he also had one hell of a moment to make a double but didn't strike the ball well as he usually does.

i was wondering why he was such an asshole...

in an interview right after the game, on a question if he was happy in moscow, garry answered that he's happy as long as the manager gives him chances to play.

anyway i believe he'll leave us this summer. i don't know how his family issues could've been sold by a new appartment and a nanny plus the club's looking for a high-class striker... though i personnaly think he's got great potential which he would show given more playtime.

i think i should tell a bit about the games since that game against spartak. they were quite successful for the team. not for garry though. he came as a substitute in every game except the second semifinal (he played the whole game) and rostov (substituted in the halftime). he didn't really show anything special in those games frankly speaking...

the results:
saturn 1-1 loko
loko 2-0 rostov
spartak 1-2 loko (cup)
spartak 1-2 loko (league)
and of course fc moscow 0-1 loko (cup final where garry scored a winner)

there is a big and interesting interview lying on my table for more than a week and i can't get to translating it. i beleive your media has published some extracts from it, but i still think i should post the whole thing here, and i'l do that when i have time. which is... i don't know when))
