The greatest comeback since lazarus waterford beat shamrock rovers 2-1 to stay up we were dead and buried seven weeks ago but since then only lost one game out of seven

Lost 2-0 alright Mark, but I can live with it, as long as Derry make it count and don't lose in Cork on Friday night to take a deserved league title.

Next (and final) Game for the Saints is this Friday @ home to Longford Town @ 7.45pm

COME ON THE SAINTS!!!

Re: St Patricks Athletic

A note on the Dublin Hoops relagation play off. They have suspended their manager Roddy Collins for leaving the ground early during their 3-1 defeat to St Pats 2 weeks ago.

Happy to know we're playing a part in Shamrock Rovers relegation

WDH I don't know much about Eircom League but have been taking an interest since our pre season can you tell me why does everyone hate Shamrock Rovers?? I've noticed it speaking with Cork fans and fans of other teams.

Their fans are scum (not all mind). They are only team in Eircom League that when they play the police presence at the stadium is multiplied by 4 or 5. Even when we play them its the only time I've ever seen Police dogs at a match in this country. I know down in Cork they had a likeness for smashing pub windows after losing and smashing up the train on their way back to Dublin. This season Longford Town tried to ban Rovers fans from going to their ground at all. But after finding out the Rovers fans were still gonna go there without wearing colours Longford decided to let them travel. Then when they were in the ground Longford stewards actually put a cage up around them

There's gonna be a hell of a lot of Bohs fans there to hopefully witness the final nail in their coffin.

Have to give them respect for saving their club and cant question their passion, but in my personal experience they are the only football fans ive met in Dublin who seem to make a point of being hostile to you.

Re: St Patricks Athletic

A bit of a sad day. Last game of the season. Hopefully a win for the Saints against Longord Town, followed by a large amount of Coor's.

It's been a long, hard season for the Saints. A lot of bad times, but some good times too (winning 1-0 in Caaark with only 9 men

)

Next season will see some new faces at the club, and some current players moving on elsewhere (ex Hibee Barry Prenderville being released) and hopefully a better season for the Saints (can't get much worse than this season
