After years of waiting finely the time has come where we belong,' on the Euro circuit ' had to break open the Euro savings bottle which was overflowing after all this time and booked on the charter before the wife got the dosh. Any other Cumbrians or Lancastrians making the trip?, if so we can meet up for a refreshment.
Anyone heading up next Sunday to Carlisle by car. Just tried to book train and cost is £40 for day return :doh which is out of my budget at moment. Was really looking forward to this day out, but going on hols the following week with wife and kids and basically cant afford the train fare once added to the other expenses for the day, but would still love to go. GGTTH :banger::banger::nade::nade::bbb
Early days, I know but managed to get train tickets for £17 return from Preston (via Glasgow) for the first day of the season if anyone else fancies it.
No where near cast iron yet, but I might be driving up from Preston to Dumfries on Tuesday evening (on company diesel) and i would have 2 spaces in the car for anyone able to leave Preston at 5...ish!! Is it pay on the gate?

:dunno: Is it time to start spending my European fund on a new car ? , with all those seasons going past i probably saved enough for a ROLLER.
I'm going up on the 7:30 from Warrington (7:52 Preston) and getting the 18:52 back down, is anyone else going up for the match? The plan is to head to Weatherspoon's for some breakfast and beer when I get into Edinburgh. (10:20) So... Get yerselves up!
Some of us aren't able to make it up to the match, the trains are mince this month. However I think it's the perfect opportunity for us to have a supporters club meet up and watch the game, Preston seems the best candidate as it's central to everyone and very easy (cheap) to get to. I'll start looking into which pub we can go to, but the Sunn Hotel does seem the most likely candidate, even though it's a Celtc pub... But we can just go and get it right up them when we beat Rangers and cement our place in 2nd. ;) casper

Have today received the polo shirts. Will hand them out at Bolton game. Anyone unable to make game, p.m. me your address and I can post if you want. Panda
The team are back in training, new signings on board and some driftwood offloaded, it's time for the Lancs Hibs boys to get kitted out. I am going ahead with ordering the polo shirts, the first stage is the set up of the badge which I am sorting out today. This takes approx 1 week, so you all have until next Wednesday 8th July to confirm your shirt sizes/colours required (see previous post on this). I am then ordering the shirts so as I can get embroidered in time to collect on July 18th when I head back up to Scotland. There has been no specific demand for the dearer of the two shirts, so I am just going ahead with the chepaer of the two. Orders I have so far are: Kev 1875 2 x large, 1 x XL and 1 x 0-6 months COLOUR? Leigh Hibs 1 x size ?, 1 x 2-3 yrs ( only do 1-2yrs 20-23" or 3-4 yrs 22-25" PLEASE CONFIRM SIZES AND...
Would anyone be interested in Lancs Hibs Supporters Club Polo Shirts. I have had some made for recent travels abroad with the Tartan Army and the quality is very good. The polo shirts are £10 each plus VAT but I would need to add the cost of setting up the badge. Would obviously make sense to use the one Mark has already designed. Set up fee for this is approx £50 plus VAT, but the badge is then emboidered onto the shirt. Depending on numbers, they could work out about £13 each. e.g If 20 wanted a shirt, cost would be £10 for shirt plus set up fee £50/20=£2.50, so cost of shirt is £12.50 plus VAT. Charge a round £15 each and any profit could go into club coffers for future travel to matches. If anyone thinks this is a goer, give me a pm. Would need a decent number though to make this worthwhile. Panda P.S. see you all at The Lostock. casper:bbb:
So what's going on with pubs, we could do with arranging something! :detective:
