Right now that we are in September the time has come for me to start orgainising our annual Burns Night. Next years event will be number 8 :approve:. As usual I have asked the usual amount of former players and A list celebs to attend this faboulas event. It will be held again in the Black and Gold Club Berwick on Sat 22 Jan 2010 (we are away to Motherwell that day) I intend to keep the price to £15 per ticket which includes the two course meal, glass of whisky, piper and disco. I will try and get the entry and raffle tickets printed for October and hope to get as many members money in prior to Christmas. The aim again is to raise at enough to continue our sponsorship with a current first team player and also a sizable donation to the u19's, for the past 3 years we have donated £2000. Please get your numbers to either me or Stevie as the Black and Gold only seats 120. I will...

Really enjoyed saturday night, good food, great guests, and plenty drink. I was speaking to Lynsay Muir about Yogi and that he was the best forward he had ever played with and in one match they played in for Berwick, when the ball was crossed over Yogi put the ball and three defenders into the back of the net. Pure quality. Bill I will get the money to you asap, will defo be this week.:banana

Would you be willing to have me come in as a new member? I have just moved to Eyemouth and I just love this place. My mum's family were fisher folk here and I have moved here with my elderly parents. I don't make many games now as I have my wee daughter to look after on Saturday most weeks, but retain my love for the club. Some of ye will ken that I'm a Bounce admin but I hope that won't put you off :ANYWORD: I haven't really looked through your recent threads yet, I'll do that soon and post again. Immediate impressions of this area, having returned from abroad; this is a wonderful place to live. I have travelled abroad to four continents, but I think this place takes a bit of beating. Maybe the employment situation could be better, but if you the quality of life here is fantastic.
our donation to the hibs youth set up this year seems to have paid dividends with the league and cup double a magnificent achievment for the boys. bill hendry and alistair stevenson identified that our funding should go towards a mid season break in portugal over the winter months, correctly so as the boys came back refreshed and ready to mount a challenge which resulted in the winning of both trophies. I personally have seen over 10 games this season and i have to say watching the 19s has been a pleasure, quality football allied to a great team spirit and a willingness to go to the very end. Be proud of yourselves boys as you may just have done something we will probably never see again, for hibs to win the league and cup when the old firm and hearts end up with nothing is a hell of an achievement. massive congratulations to alistair, james and bill, who will celebrate in a...
