Does anybody think we should fly the Erin Go Bragh flag over ER?
The saltire at one end and the Harp at the other......BEAUTIFUL in my view.

But Slov Sam and myself used to give each other controversial topics to attack the net, he once told me to start a thread with 'fly the tri-colour over ER'. 8)

Back in 1985 Simple Minds played two gigs at Ibrox.

Seeing as this was the dark ages, and SM had the audacity to have all the flags from the countries that they had been touring (which included the Rep of I) this caused a considerable stooshy.

As I remember it, the question was put to the former husband of Chrissie Hynde and Patsy Kensit that had he not been in fact a bit contraversial needlessly?

To his eternal credit he replied along the lines of:

"Controversial? We hired Ibrox, and we would have flowing f***ing kites if we wanted to"

He's still a twat these days mind.

Personally I would fly the Irish tri-colour at one end the Scottish saltire at the other and an Erin Go Bragh flag in the centre of the stand. If I ever win the lottery and buy Hibs I will do it.

I think we should defo have a harp/erin go bragh flag flying from the stand. We should also have a Scottish saltire flying from the stand as well.

I love to see a big harp and Hibernian FC - Easter Road above the main entrance as well because at the moment the front of the new stand looks sh*te.
