brown was right, the UK does appear unqiuely positioned for the economic storm
according to the OECD we're the only G7 economy facing recession.
a city forecaster, meanwhile, predicts a million people will lose their jobs over the next 18 months. never mind though, the labour glitterati have their finger on the pulse - not this, not iraq, not debased education systems, disease ridden hospitals, authoritarian legislature gone mad, social breakdown, ruined pension schemes, PFI, money burning on an olympic scale....not any of these, dear reader, is labour's biggest disaster. No, it's Tony Blair's enthusiasm for faith schools. Polly Toynbee, you are Marie Antionette. You and the rest of your class. The guillotine awaits. |
