what is certain is that bush has spent more money on the poor of the world than clinton ever did, and has generally followed an almost 'socialist' largesse in spending on the disadvantaged. cue all kind of hissings about it really all benefiting drugs companies from fevered men who can't handle shades of grey - but, sadly for them, it's true and entirely consistent with the kind of bible bashing background he's from, which is scorned by those who do far less, and worse, blatantly lied into being something completely opposite (all about the rich etc).

still, in doing so, he's fucked the US economy. he's very like labour really; well meaning but stupid. not as authoritarian though, to be fair to him.
