How much is a taxi from Edinburgh to Dunfermline post midnight on a week night going to cost me?

Is there any other cheaper way of doing it?

i know a group of guys who paid about £50(if memory serves me right) to get back after a game from dunfy with a private hire taxi-this was 2 or 3 years ago though

There used to be night buses that ran to Dunfermline from outside Waverley Station...that was a good while ago though...

A slow bumpy bus journey after a night on the beers became a bit like that Japanese game show Endurance....by the time the bus got to South Queensferry it was a case of mind over bladder

Was that the Yellow Taxi Bus? Never used it Forza and not sure if it's still running.

On a side note...I mind of being so bevvied that a cabbie charged me up front for a journey back to the Kingdom...and then charged me again at the end of the journey

Even gave the wee bassa a tip! Doh!
