its one of my fave stories.

i remember seeing a film in history class when i was at school based on this.

i was looking around to see if i could find a dvd but i cant, does anyone know where i could try looking?

I visited it as well, although I've never read the book.

I thought it would be a bit touristy and over-priced for just a quick wander round a basic Amsterdam house. Quite the contrary .. I found it a very moving experience.

I've never visited it even tho I've been to The Dam 3 times.

The wife went a couple of years ago and was very moved.
A poster on heres auntie was also on this trip, and had no idea who Anne Frank was. When she was asked if she was going to Anne Franks house her reply was. " How? is she having a party"

Read the book and was quite moved by it. Seen the film and quite liked it too. Went to Amsterdam for five days, got cabbaged every day and forgot all about the museum.

How shallow am i?

Though i did manage a tour of the Amsterdam Arena

Me too .. 3 hours before a Champions League game against Milan .. the place was buzzing.

I some good photos of the tour stored at the back of a cupboard somewhere.

Me too. I went in my teens, having not long read the book.
Things like the wall-paper (of a type recognisable from your granny's house), and the newscuttings on the wall of film stars etc...brought home to me, at the time, how recent these atrocities were.
