Heidbangers.

Religious folk make great blethers.

I remember listening to one at a wedding I was at a few years ago. He got up on a set of stairs type thing and started to talk a load of pish. Nobody could talk whilst this was going on, and the wedding couple had to listen to this until the boy got off the set of stairs and did the legal marriage thing to them.

Religious folk also make great conmen. This is actually a grifters royal flush, come to think of it. When the boy dies he cant exactly ask for his money back!!

I'm gonna move to the US and set up my own church! This religion stuff cant be to difficult to bluff?? I mean, loads of conmen don black suits every sunday and pull it off?

not surprising; intellectual sorts have also disproportionately represented in support for communism, and for every wacky radical position throughout modern history.

whatever the truth about God, here a rock solid one - there's no correlation between IQ and wisdom or sense.

there again, religion is sometimes reported as being more popular amongst the educated than the uneducated.

Some of the messages can be encrypted information such as bank account details and electronic passwords
Of course. It makes perfect sense to entrust such details to a fruitbat.

Quote:
he rest can be spiritual encouragement such as Biblical passages intended to bring loved ones "to Christ and snatch them from the flames".
No hate mail then.

This "burn in hell bitch" email is sent to you by your late loathing husband john.

Quote:
The service is rooted in the belief held by some evangelicals in the Rapture, a sudden visit from God in which Christians are taken away to Heaven leaving the rest to spend a further seven years on Earth under the dominion of the Anti-Christ.
Only 7 years, thats not nearly enough time to soak up the hedonistic pleasures being ruled by an antichrist would surely bring. Selfish bastards, 7 fukkin years

The website, whose motto reads "Because 'No one knows the day or hour'", says it "gives you one last opportunity to reach your lost family and friends for Christ"
Save all that money and simply pray to your god and ask him to sort all that stuff out. ****s omnipotent is he not?

Quote:
"Imagine being in the presence of the Lord and hearing all of heaven rejoice over the salvation of your loved ones"
Loony choons imo

It is our prayer that this site makes it happen.
Read: It is our earnest hope that you gullable fools shell out your hard earned for years for basically fekk all - great plan.

Youvebeenleftbehind.com was created by Mark Heard, a 49-year-old supermarket shelf-stacker from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

He said he got the idea in 1999 while trading in shares online. It suddenly occurred to him that he would not be able to send his trading password to his wife if the Rapture suddenly took him, he said.
I take it that
  • Supermarket shelf stackers get paid enough cash to be able to trade in shares'
  • He has no intention of trusting his wife with his password whilst he still lives
.

Quote:
Membership costs $40 (£20) a year but Mr Heard would not reveal how many people had signed up.
I'll hazard a guess at.....hmmm let me think.....Zero

Quote:
Recognising when the Rapture has actually happened is obviously an issue for the email server.
Strange this, how will the server let them know the rapture has occurred Thank fukk they will have the clients bank details. This will allow them to keep taking money until either there is none left or someone puts a stop to it.

Quote:
The service will be triggered if any three of Mr Heard's five employees fail to log on to their work accounts for six days.
Strange one this. Its up to the server to decide when its rapture time but there's this fail safe device built in. Why three of his employees. I hope they arent all related...what if they take a family holiday and forget to tell him, or, he is such a fruitcake that they tell him but it doesnt register. Rapture time as MC Thors Hammer might say.

Which could, of course, be down to the fact that the absolute 'truth' of religious doctrine may have been neatly packaged within the very education that a lot of people receive as kids.

Faith schools would need to take a long hard look at themselves if religion was less popular among the educated!

Selective education is popular amongst the educated. There's a feck of a lot of non-religious folk in the churches to get their kids into faith schools.

you misunderstand. i'm talking about the educated classes, versus the less so; irrespective of which schools they went to.
