would have to say it depends on the persons inner thoughts,

Made me fairly lazy and boring. Quit it about year and a half ago and my life in general has been much better ever since.

Maybe a little over the top but quitting was one of the best things I have ever done, not criticising anyone who smokes (I loved it) but there comes a time when it's good to quit.

Actually I think that it does make you lethargic rather than lazy and no I dont think it makes you boring at all.
