You get a new man, things are going really well, best time you've had in years when WHACK take that for no reason hen. At first you're in total shock, surely he didn't just do that?

He's so sorry and makes big, big promises about the future. Instead, though, he starts the mental torture, turning you into a public laughing stock. No worry though, he's bought you loads of nice foreign dresses to make you feel better. Well borrowed nice foreign dresses. You really feel you should dump him but you remember your last idiot of a boyfriend and it is nice going out with a rich man for a change. That shiny bit of silver he bought you a few years ago proves he loves you and made you forget about all your problems, for a while.

He starts the mind games again pretty soon after, building you up in private then embarrassing you very publicly. He starts to cut out your most influential friends from your life, blaming them for making you feel bad. Things go downhill fast. He gets rid of your nice clothes and starts dressing you up in stuff his Granny from back home knitted. He says you better wear them...or else, and you know he means it. The new house he promised you doesn't seem to be materialising, how could it when we're so poor! Things are looking so bad.

But then...he promises you a new car! The most popular, hard to buy car on the market! You're so excited! You gloat to your neighbours and brag about your new car in public. He's a good guy really, maybe you've been a bit harsh...
