It's like freeview (no subscription, a load of free to air channels) except via satellite instead of terrestrial. If you already have a dish, then all you need is a decoder box.
The plus compared to freeview is they have a lot more bandwidth available, so they're already carrying the BBC's HD service. You need an HD decoder box to receive this, they start at about £150 I think. Euro2008 will be shown in HD. |
