The Vaselines
Was anyone else lucky enough to see seminal Scottish band The Vaselines at Dunfermline's Carnegie Hall last night? They were supporting Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and David Scott (Pearlfishers), who played together with a string quartet.
The Vaselines were accompanied by four members of Belle and Sebastian.

sounds like a good gig
i know a little of the vaselines stuff-i know kurt cobain was an obsessive fan and i was once stood next to the lead singer out of the vaselines(eugene?) at a gig but i never knew it until someone pointed it out to me
