Aye, great refereeing across the 2 legs.

1st leg, Carlisle cruising with a 2-0 lead away from home, Dirty Leeds score SEVEN minutes into injury time to grab a lifeline - final whistle blows.

2nd leg, with the match heading into injury time Dirty Leeds score their 2nd of the match to go into a 3-2 aggregate lead - and the final whistle blows more or less immediately with almost no injury time.

Now, I don't deny I'm biased, but tell me honestly, if that happened to Hibs in a double header vs the Old Firm, would we happily dismiss it as a remarkable coincidence?

Especially as the FA are probably desparate for Dirty Leeds to get promoted to avoid any ressurection of their moaning about the 15 point deduction.

There were 5 minutes injury time in the first game because there were a lot of stoppages. This game, to the credit of both the players and the officials flowed along with no needless stoppages. If there were 5 minutes of injury time in this game there would have been a stewards enquiry. Unless you think the ref should have just added the 5 minutes to even up both legs

If there had been 5 minutes of injury time in the first game, they'd be playing extra time right now.
