personally cant stand him but feel he has been sacked for his impending court case - should have been kept on until the result came through -though they say it is a change of direction they are going down and want their presenters to be less confontational yet they keep that dirty soapdodger Domonik Diamond on

Seems unfair - if anything they could do with the publicity.

Apparantly all to do with talk107's new approach. The want to get a bigger audience and East Central Scotland is happier with a diet of inane babbling shite rather than actually being made to think.

As has been mentioned they want less confrontational presenters and want to move away from the so-called shock jocks hence Scottie McClue got asked to leave. They also dumped Mike Graham and Susan Morrison - I actually quite liked her as she was a decent foil to Jambo Wilson's morning ranting.

I did not mind Tommy Sheridan's shows - he seemed genuine about what he did on the radio at least and his recent one with Gerrry Conlon was incredibly good radio.
It does come across as rather weak stuff and talk107 is now on the road to blandness IMHO.

Agree with everything you say Andy and would add that I stopped tuning in regularly after they papped Simon Pia out and replaced him with the cock socket Diamond.

I also note that they are now linking in with Talksport, their sister company a lot more. Their drift to the right will suit Willie Dunn and his New Labour image
