Been offered an opportunity but it would mean moving the family as well - bit unsure.

What's it like?

I worked in Abu Dhabi for 6 months a few years ago and go there for a long weekend 3-4 times a year when possible Much prefer Abu Dhabi to Dubai as you can live in the city and get about easily without sitting in traffic for hours each day Only thing about family life is most accommodation is in multi-story apartments - although there are a few villas they are on the outskirts and more expensive. Seeing as the NHS are trying to make her redundant she's a bit interested but I don't know how easy it would be for her to work there.

Apartments ae OK as long as they don't have balconies and are big.

How easy is it to bring your money back into the UK?

I'd imagine you'd both need to really want to do it , is she a nurse ? i thought lots of Nurses out there were ex pats ?

Specialist OT - Mental Health. Not much of a service out there. Good in Canada, Oz and NZ.

The government prefers to have them walking the streets. They're closing wards because they cost too much to run - until there's another Jonathan Zito.

Unbelievable thing is its Home Office sections she deals with - joined up thinking after 11 years? You would have expected it.

My dad was a psychiatric (sp) nurse years ago with the criminally insane , a tough job i'd say
