How crazy is this if cardiff win the fa cup they dont get into europe because they are welsh.

Yeah is pretty stupid, they are allowed to enter the competition but dont get all the rewards for winning it? Either the manager, or maybe even head of the Welsh FA are going to apply if they do in for the rule to be changed, and tbh they do deserve the place.

Seems particularly bizzare bearing in mind Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham are also not eligible for the Welsh UEFA Cup/CL places as they go to the League Of Wales teams.
Maybe the Old Firm should take note, as the same pattern should presumably apply if they ever move south - ie no more Europe for either of them, however well they performed. |
