Honorary Degrees
Two Scottish footballing legends are to receive honorary degrees from the University of Glasgow this summer.
Former Old Firm players Billy McNeill and John Greig are being recognised for their achievements in football and roles as ambassadors for the sport. I may be wrong about this but I had understood that John Greig was a notorious anti-catholic bigot. Is this right? If so, hardly an ambassador for the sport.

Slightly off thread, but did John Greig not once win the (East of ?) Scotland Darts championship.
