The look on the kid presenter's face when he asks her what will happen after she's been martyred is pretty tragic. She doesn't look like she's happy with the scenario at all.
Nahoul the bee who presented the show before the rabbit was apparently martyred. They did a sad show about it, although there was no actual footage of a man in an outsize bee suit blowing himself up.

reminds me of a film on c4 some months back. israeli film crew followed palestinian boys life, palestinian crew an israeli lad. both crews jointly edited final product.
israeli school was like nelson mandela high in north london; liberal teachers ticking off more worldly and cynical kids whenever they were hostile to palestinians, and constantly challenging them to see things from the other's pov. palestinian school had school plays based on martyrdom ops; teachers fawning over kids arrested for throwing stones at israeli's, school assemblies lauding their martyrs. it was immediately obvious where the sympathies of british secular humanist liberals would lie.
