How many points of a start are Scotland getting at the rugby?
Can't get onto betting sites at work.
Could someone post the lowest start Scotland are receiving and the price to go with it. Cheers! |

if scotland are 9/4 with a 3 point start I'm asuming Ireland are 1/3 minus 3points? You can also get Scotland with a 12 point start with both teams 10/11 thats the main handicap betting 3 points must be one of the "alternative" handicaps.
BTW Ireland 1/3 minus 3 is a license to print money. |

Last game of 6 nations last season i had £180 on France -24 (I think might have been 22 - days before CIS cup final) to beat Scotland as I think thats how many they had to win by to pip Ireland who had played earlier that day. IIRC Paterson missed a conversion in the last minute which would have given Ireland the title and fu*ked my bet although the Frogs promptly went up and scored a try in injury time anyway happy days.

You're pretty much correct. You could look at it either as ireland 0 Scotland 3 or Ireland -3 Scotland 0 at the the start. The upshot is if you bet Scotland +3 they can afford to lose by two points and you win your bet.
