I would suspect they are all pretty much the same. BSM are probably one of the biggest assuming they still exist that is.

Go for any instructor that doesnt have bumps or dents in their car and you should be OK .

Re: Driving Lessons

I have a mate that's a driving instructor. Nice guy, but can't say that I've ever had any lessons from him.

I'm pretty sure that they all charge about the same for a lesson, so I should probably suggest him.... but suit yourself

If you want, PM me and I'll send his mobile number.

Re: Driving Lessons

get some practice once you've got the basics - otherwise it costs a fortune (I did it the expensive way).

That's a good point - if you can get someone to take you to practise your three point turns etc (instead of perfecting them on the instructor's time) you could save a few quid.

yeah getting lots of practice inbetween lessons is essential. else you'll spend half of each lesson trying to remember the stuff you learnt in the previous one.

Re: Driving Lessons

I learned to drive in a week.

Did one of the "crash courses" (no pun intended) where you have three lessons a day and sit the test within a fortnight. You don't get the chance to lose ground between lessons and, although it was maybe about 10% dearer than the usual way, it meant I was legally on the road independently within 15 days of starting my lessons.

Got to be the best option if you can afford it
