Bounce Computer Wizards - Help Needed

I think I may have a virus. Whenever I log onto my computer, a window in Internet Explorer opens and tells me I am due a payment to MBS for a subscription to something. I used to be able to click it away, but now it won't let me close it at all, and whenever I use the task manager to close it, it comes back up again. It always goes to the top left hand corner of my screen, and when I move it it moves straight back. It's blocking a sizeable portion of my screen, and even when I'm trying to view another page it remains in full focus on the screen. I also have an icon on my desktop which reads "Online Account". I send it to the trash and delete it, but it's always there when I log on. Help please

I had a virus and someone on here [apologies because I cant remember] recommended running "houseCall" which I did and it seemed to do the trick. It takes ages to load up first time round but its decent enough and its internet based so no huge programs [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

Keith,

Make sure your Antivirus is up to date with it's definitions.

Also try downloading and running Spybot S&D. I know it's not the best program but it is the most widely used.

I think you might have a Trojan.

do you run the both of them at the same time if so is this ok to do this

Thanks for all the help guys. I had a High Risk Trojan and Malware on my PC, and used the AVG Anti-Spyware thing which worked pretty well and emptied them both
