Anyone else been watching this fascinating series on BBC2?

Last part last night and it was amazing stuff as usual. Stuff like this makes it a thrill to be alive.

Quantum mechanics and the further subdivision of the elements of the atom have led to a near merger between philosphy and science: do the elements of an atom really exist in a myriad of universes in this one 'multiverse'?

Dizzying stuff indeed, never thought they'd get this close to SF in the real world but the way they explain it, it doesn't seem so far-fetched.

Mind you, it might all be bollocks... fascinating bollox though

I agree Haarlem this is the type of stuff I love as well. I have a very well worn tome at home that explains all this science very clearly.. The people in the far future will , I think, revere the late 19th and Early 20th Century Scientists as the people who fitted the jisgsaw puzzle of the cosmos together.
