Re: Pancake Day

I had a weird experience at the weekend...

My son got a book from the library about Mr Wolf who made himself some pancakes. So, for something to do we decided to go out and get some ingredients to make pancakes. When we got to Scotmid, beside the BERO flour there was a wee sign saying; Perfect for pancakes. Pancake Day Tuesday 5th.

Bit of a co-inky-dink that.

I doubt we'll do them again the morn.

It was intended to use up all the "rich" foods in the house like butter, eggs and sugar before Lent started (on Wednesday).

Good fun for the kids. Hope they do something at nursery but if not I'll make some.
