I'm pretty sure it was the administrator for Dumpdee who turned vlad down Col, dont know about the other two though although I did know he approached them. Thank fekk we are after hearts in the alphabet

I think it was KPMG who refused to sell Dundeh to Romanov.

Romanov seems mental. Why would he do what he's done? The land's worth no where near HoMFCs debt so they're fecked in that respect.

Is he doing it for love? Hmmm.

Is he just a meglomaniac? Mibby.

Or, is he using the whole thing to launder cash?...

I'd forgotten the actual timeline of his taking over of the gunts.

He originally bought the 30% share, installed Burley and they went on that run. He then asked the rest of the shareholders to sell up to him and they gladly did, due to that run.

The day after he gets control he sacks Burley and it's Vlad the Mad from there on in...

I also didn't realise that he's involved with more than half the clubs in Kaunus' division

Brainwrong, yer money laundering suspicion is one that's been there from the start eh... All that loaning and buying and selling through Kaunus and Ripo... Maybe it is more plausible because as you say he'll no get that much for the land now.

He's got a pretty dodgy past (all my info is heresay & conjecture, likesay), I've spoken to a few Polish boys recently who were spraffing away about how dodgy his cash is and his KGB links an' all that.

They were saying there're no checks here on the source of his cash. Initially I thought that was daft but thinking about it; he owns the institution the cash is going through.
