I think you could be right, ZB. I smell shite. Nothing on Snopes but I reckon it's an urban myth.

It comes as no surprise that the identities of the pair have been kept secret. I reckon someone has passed on the myth to this Lord dude as a fact, he's not checked it out and it's been given credence by it's association to him. He's then embellished it with "I was told by the Judge" when people started to question him and it's grown arms and legs since then and may shortly boot him right up the arse.
