Barcelona tickets

We bought tickets for Barca v Osasuna on 3rd Feb via FC Barcelona's official site which redirects you to ServiCaixa's site.

We bought tickets using a credit card on Tuesday evening and gave credit card details on the site, the purchase seemed to go through ok but we haven't receieved a confirmation e-mail yet. We were told on the site to collect the tickets on matchday from the Nou Camp and bring the card we booked with.

We rang Servicaixa this morning but they were unhelpful and told us to ring the club.
The seats we bought are showing as sold on the website now.

Has anyone bought tickets through this channel before, how exactly did it work? did ye get a confirmation e-mail or did ye just pitch up to the stadium on matchday and collect yer tickets?

Hi DH. I can understand your concern but my guess is that you will be safe enough. I bought tickets from ServiCaixa before for a Barça game -through a Spanish cash machine and not the internet. I don't recall if I had any written proof of this - I think I just turned up at the stadium on the morning of the game and collected my tickets.

Also, I quite often buy tickets for Deportivo La Coruña games through the DLC website. I don't think I receive any e-mail confirmation of the purchase. I just turn up at the ticket office on the day of the game with my credit card and collect the tickets.

I think we might try and contact Barca anyway but it sounds like we might be ok just to turn up at the stadium on matchday.

I've done this twice before for games at the Nou Camp, and like you, I was a little nervous. However, there was no problem either time. I've yet to see Barca win though!

thanks Bampotto, so just to clarify, you didn't get any indication as to whether you'd successfully bought the tickets off the website, you just turned up with yer credit card and yer tickets were there?

DH - Remember to take your passport along when collecting the tickets. I believe this is very important as Spaniards always have to show their national ID card when making any kind of CC transaction. For foreigners, a passport is the acceptable substitute - NOT a driving license or whatever.

Take your passport along to the ticket office on the day of the match and your tickets will be there. Its so easy, its worrying, I think its years of dealing with Hibs that make us uneasy about simple ticket selling methods that actually work. Enjoy the game.

Out of interest, which section did you choose?

My invoice for Barca's visit to Parkhead came through last night, £40 for a ticket in the Barca section, hope its not a restricted view one.:YAYYY:

Thanks 1875, can't remember the section number off the top of my head but we're in the lower tier at the corner between the 'goal sud' end and the stand opposite the grandstand.
If ER had the corners filled in, it would be like being at the corner flag between the South & West Stands.

There are 6 of us and it was the only section in the whole stadium basically where we could get 6 tixs for - 4 together and 2 together
